Our snowtubes were being towed uphill. The twins were on the bottom two tubes, Mommy was on the third one videotaping us.  The people on the right side of the picture were getting ready to sled down the half pipe. Click picture to view full-size.

Twins Jasmine and Joanne in their snowtubes. Jasmine lost her mittens in one of the snowtubes.  Joanne wanted to take off her jacket. Jasmine flipped up her shades and Joanne held hers in her hands because the sun just went behind the clouds.

During the last few runs of the day, an operator wanted the kids to sit with their feet outside the tube, he said it was safer this way. Another operator said the opposite. Jasmine didn't seem to enjoy the new riding position.

Poor Joanne couldn't get used to the new riding position. She fell inside the snowtube in an awkward position, her boots were pointing up, and her neck bent. I didn't see how riding this way was safer. She could hurt her neck when the tube was bumped around.
